Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Impact

ESG Philosophy and Approach

Huron believes that effective corporate governance and a commitment to social and environmental responsibility are part of a sound investment program that creates value for portfolio companies, investors, employees, and communities.

Huron’s ESG integration process incorporates ESG factors into our company operations, investment process, and financial analyses. At Huron, we routinely review and monitor portfolio company ESG performance and ESG information is incorporated in reporting materials prepared by each portfolio investment.

DEI Philosophy and Approach

Huron’s mission is to make the world better by helping founders build great companies that improve the way we live, work, and play. As investors, Huron seeks to do this by improving diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the private equity industry and among its portfolio investments.

Huron focuses on creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment immediately upon acquisition of a company and recognizes that early and intentional incorporation of DEI principles affords our companies with a distinct advantage. This includes efforts to address racial and gender disparities in recruitment, retention, and compensation.

Our Culture

We invest in people and their communities with the same ambition and passion as we do in our own business and portfolio companies.

Our aim is to leave a legacy – a footprint – that demonstrates our gratitude for what we have so we can share it with others.

We further support our employees through an employee matching gift program. We provide a matching donation in support of funds raised by our employees for a variety of organizations and initiatives that are extremely important to them. We endorse charitable organizations and nonprofit causes through:

Volunteer work
In-kind services
Mentorship
Financial resources
