Tony is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing investments made under the firm’s non-control Flex Equity strategy.
Tony’s experience includes minority and majority equity recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, and debt financings for businesses across a variety of industries. Prior to Huron Capital, Tony was a Principal at Rockbridge Growth Equity Management, L.P., a middle-market private equity firm focused on minority and majority equity investments in the consumer and business service sectors. Prior to Rockbridge, Tony was a Vice President in the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was responsible for buyouts and structured investments focused primarily in the business service, industrial and technology sectors. Tony also worked in the Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was responsible for the execution of mergers and acquisitions advisory and capital raising transactions. He started his career at The Boston Consulting Group, where he was focused on strategic management consulting in the consumer goods and business products sectors.
B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago; M.B.A. from The University of Chicago with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.
Fun Fact About Tony
Tony played quarterback for the University of Chicago, which holds two national championships and the first ever Heisman Trophy winner, albeit almost 100 years ago! He has since hung up his shoulder pads and picked up a golf bag, along with a plethora of his kids toys. Tony and his wife have two children and they’re all huge Michigan State fans (the University that took Chicago’s spot in the Big Ten!)
