Board Member, XLerate
In a career spanning more than 45 years William has held a variety of positions in several different companies in the automotive industry. The majority of his career was with GMAC (now Ally Bank) where he retired as Director of Internet Remarketing. William held a number of management positions at GMAC in virtually every area of automotive related financial services including collections, dealer credits, commercial lending, and remarketing. He was the developer and Director of GMAC’s online wholesale auction, which has sold more than 5 million vehicles online, revolutionizing the way vehicles are remarketed.
Currently William is the owner of the Forsyth Consulting Group in Atlanta and serves on numerous boards of for-profit and non-profit companies. William is also a member of the advisory board of DealerDOCX, a technology company serving the auto industry, and two industry trade association boards.
