Experience:  Bud has more than 25 years of experience in the packaging industry, with a strong background in plastic films and flexible packaging.  With previous positions in operations, manufacturing, engineering and management, Bud brings a diverse skill set to the Optimum Plastics Board.

Bud previously served as President and CEO of IGI Corp., a manufacturer of paper and film-based application tapes and custom extruded films.  Prior to IGI, Bud was President and CEO of Atlantis Plastics, a middle-market manufacturer of custom films, stretch films, injection molded parts and profile extrusions used in a variety of applications, including food packaging, storage, durable goods and transportation.  The films business is now a part of AEP Industries.  Earlier in his career, Bud held management and operations positions at Plassein International Corp, Huhtamaki Packaging Worldwide and The Chinet Company.

Education:  B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine; Certificate in Pulp & Paper Technology from the University of Maine; Advanced Management Program (INSEAD) and Registered Professional Engineer (Retired).
