Role: Greer is responsible for evaluating and analyzing investments made by the firm.
Experience: Prior to joining Huron, Greer was an analyst at Watch Hill Partners, an investment banking boutique in New York providing advisory services to corporate and private equity clients on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. His responsibilities included strategic and financial analysis on sell-side and buy-side engagements, benchmarking comparable company metrics across a range of industries, and preparing written reports and various marketing materials for institutional investors and company management teams. Prior to joining Watch Hill Partners, Greer worked as an investment banking analyst for Citigroup.
Education: B.A. in Sociology, with honors, from Indiana University; M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Board Affiliations: Greer currently serves as a Director of Sock & Accessory Brands Global, and is the Founder and former Chairman of ACG Detroit “NextGen” (age 35 & under). ACG Detroit is comprised of roughly 340 members, including professionals from private equity, law, accounting, investment banking and other firms and lending institutions that invest in or provide advisory services to middle-market companies.
Personal / Interests: Greer remains actively involved in “Locke’s Lions”, an academic and athletic mentorship program for students who attended Public School 208 in Harlem. He is a sports nut who will play almost anything with a score, but his most significant athletic achievement is finishing runner-up at the University of Michigan’s all-campus intramural ping pong championship in both singles and doubles. Unfortunately there were no points for second place.
